In a jaw-dropping revelation that has the film community in a frenzy, insiders are claiming that the recently released Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie originally featured a controversial 15-minute fully-nude shower scene between Sonic and Knuckles. Yes, you read that correctly: the beloved blue blur and his red rival were not just teaming up to save the world, but also sharing an incredibly “graphic yet tender” moment that was ultimately scrapped in favor of more traditional action. Apparently Johnny Sins was even rumoured to do the Mocap for the scene to help ensure it was as realistic as possible.

Sources close to the film’s production have shared that the scene was meant to highlight the “obvious sexual tension” between the two characters. “We wanted to delve into the emotional undercurrents of their rivalry,” said a producer who requested anonymity. “But after some early test screenings with families, we realized that the audience was not ready for a shower scene involving uncensored anthropomorphic animal assholes– and that really bummed me out.”

However, the decision to include such a risqué moment raised eyebrows in test screenings, with one viewer commenting, “I thought we were here for family fun, not a furry convention!” It wasn’t long before the producers decided to cut the scene, shifting their focus back to high-speed chases and saving the world—minus the red and blue buttholes.

The now-infamous scene wasn’t all dirty business though. It was also filled with some slapstick humor, featuring a chaotic bubble fight that ‘spiraled out of control’. Sonic was reportedly heard delivering a classic quip: “Gotta go fast, but don’t forget to wash your foreskin!”

As the news of this insane approach to modern film has been revealed, fans have been going wild with speculation and memes, showcasing Sonic and Knuckles in various sudsy situations. Finally all that rule34 art of pregnant Sonic and Knuckles might actually be useful for once. Hashtags like #ShowerSceneSonic have taken over social media, with fans playfully debating if the film would have revealed if there is another reason they call him “Knuckles”.

“We’re just trying to make a fun movie for everyone,” said one of the film's creators. “It’s not my fault that my version of fun, and your version of fun, don’t line up. This country makes me sick.”

While Sonic and Knuckles may never share their steamy shower scene on screen, fans can at least take comfort in knowing that it once existed in some form. Someone brought it up in a boardroom, multiple levels of executives approved it, it got drafted, filmed, animated, and edited. Then, and only then, was it deemed that maybe they had made a mistake. On the other hand, if this had made it into the final cut, we can’t say it wouldn’t have driven ticket sales purely out of morbid curiosity!
